Aries

Is the first sign of the zodiac and it got his name because this costellation looks like a ram (from Latin to english, Aries means ram). According to greek mythology Aries was the ram who saved Phrixus and Helle from dead, carrying them away from their stepmother. During the travel Helle fell down and died. When Phrixus arrived in Colquide, he sacrificed the ram to show his gratitude to Zeus, then Zeus made a constellation in honor to Aries.

If you want to locate it:

Aries is a Northern Winter constellation, that means that it can be seen from the northern hemisphere during the winter. The best time to see it is at 21:00 in April.

Aries is a small group of stars (that’s nothing like a sheep). Hamal, it’s a semi-bright star, it’s is the only distinguishing characteristic of Aries. So, if you find Hamal, you have almost defined Aries.
Hamal is west of the Great Square of
Pegasus and northeast of Taurus the Bull.
Use the Seven Sisters as a guide to Hamal. It’s often mistaken for the Little Dipper. Hamal and Aries are just to the east of the Seven Sisters. Try to find Triangulum (a tiny constellation, it’s just above the stars of Aries) Triangulum is much easier to spot than Aries. When you spot Hamal, look to the southeast close by for the next star of Aries. After that, look downward from the second star and you will have seen all there is to see of this April Zodiac constellation.
